Meet our team:

Howard Fischer

Mr. Fischer has extensive experience on both the sell and buy sides of the securities and advisory businesses, and serves as one of Bradley Woods' lead healthcare investment bankers.

He held senior investment banking positions at UBS Global Investment Banking, Prudential Securities, and Furman Selz. Prior, Mr. Fischer was an analyst and portfolio manager at Silverback Asset Management (a $1.5 billion fund) as well as at SCO Financial Group, a fund that took controlling positions in distressed publicly-traded companies.

Mr. Fischer brings extensive experience in other industries including retail, media and entertainment, financial services, and energy. He has considerable experience in public and private capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and restructurings. Mr. Fischer has served as an independent advisor to some of the largest private equity groups, hedge funds, and venture capital firms in the country, and has been an expert witness for clients in major valuation, securities, and investment banking-related cases.

Mr. Fischer received an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago, and a BS from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a CPA.

Bar Halperin
Mr. Halperin comes to Bradley Woods from TD's Diversified Industries group, where he was an investment banker on buy and sell-side M&A, capital raises, corporate advisory, and acquisition financing. His client portfolio spanned healthcare, retail, and industrials, encompassing a broad spectrum of entities from financial sponsors and lower middle market companies to Fortune 500 corporations both domestically and abroad.

Prior to his time at TD Securities, Mr. Halperin spent over a year at GreenHills Ventures, where he specialized in vetting and due diligence for early-stage medical device companies. He also worked with international clients through the organization's global accelerator arm.

Mr. Halperin graduated with honors in Financial Economics from Columbia University where he distinguished himself as a member of the School of General Studies Honor Society, and actively participated in finance and business clubs. He founded Meor and JBiz at Columbia and held leadership positions in Tamid, Alpha Epsilon Pi, and SSI. His academic pursuits culminated in a senior thesis exploring the relationship between government investment and policy and innovation within the healthcare sector. Fluent in Hebrew and English, Mr. Halperin holds Series 7, 63, and 79 licenses.

Dana Levy-Germain

Ms. Levy-Germain brings over two decades of professional fundraising experience to Bradley Woods.

Since 1998, she has marketed private equity and venture capital funds targeting international and domestic institutional investors. She has raised initial venture capital for entrepreneurs, and has brought institutional investors into later round capital raises for growing companies.

Prior to 1998, Ms. Levy-Germain was the Vice President of the International Fund for Renewable Energy and Efficiency in Washington, D.C. She also held international marketing and business development positions with the Pacific Asia Travel Association in Singapore, and Shiseido in Tokyo.

Ms. Levy-Germain holds a MBA from ASU’s Thunderbird School of Global Management, as well as a BA and MS from the University of Cincinnati.

Alan Mason

Mr. Mason is an accomplished Capital Markets Principal and Portfolio Manager with nearly four decades of experience raising capital for a multitude of public and private institutional transactions, delivering superior sales and operational results.

He has designed portfolios for high net worth clients, family offices, foundations, hedge funds, and other institutional accounts. Mr. Mason started his career at Solomon Brothers, working in asset protection. He then moved to Shearson Lehman Brothers, managing portfolios for high-net-worth investors.

After decades as a Financial Advisor at some of Wall Street’s best-known firms, Mr. Mason founded Mason Financial Partners, an asset management firm where he was founder, partner, and portfolio manager. He holds a degree from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business.

Peter Rosenberg

Mr. Rosenberg advises companies in the cannabis industry.  Prior to joining the Bradley Woods investment banking team, he was a partner and Head of M&A at Viridian Capital Advisors, a division of Bradley Woods that focuses on research, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions for cannabis companies. Mr. Rosenberg has extensive business development, transaction execution, and portfolio management expertise in the cannabis sector as well as a vast network of industry relationships. His areas of expertise include capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and vertical knowledge in the packaged consumer goods and services, distribution, and specialty retail sectors. 

Mr. Rosenberg has over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry and has held senior-level positions in leveraged finance, investment banking, private equity, commercial banking, and public securities asset management. He was a Senior Partner at Merida Capital Partners, a private equity firm which invests exclusively in cannabis and hemp companies. Additionally, Mr. Rosenberg has been a Managing Director for firms such as Wells Fargo Securities and Salomon Brothers; a partner at BLUM Capital, a San Francisco based hedge fund; an Associate for Comman, Howard & Flamen; and a commercial banking marketing and credit officer for Security Pacific Bank and Manufacturers Hanover Bank.

Mr. Rosenberg graduated magna cum laude from the University of Colorado with a B.S. degree in Business and Administration. He holds active Series 7, 63 and 24 FINRA securities licenses. He has served on the Board of Directors of GrowGeneration, a publicly traded  specialty retail chain selling cannabis cultivation equipment and supplies to commercial growers.    

Eric Singer

Mr. Singer focuses on raising capital for small companies. Most recently, he raised $56 million in three rounds for NeoTX, an Israeli biopharmaceutical company that develops anti-cancer immunotherapies.

Mr. Singer is the author of the book "Trade the Congressional Effect: How to Profit from the Congressional Effect," about the impact of the US Congress on the stock market. He has also written articles for Investor’s Business Daily and Forbes.

In the 1990s, Mr. Singer was head of Corporate Finance at Gerard Klauer Mattison & Co., Inc., a research-oriented brokerage firm. Prior to that, he launched a corporate finance new products group at Smith Barney, and led a similar group at PaineWebber.

Mr. Singer graduated Phi Beta Kappa from SUNY at Stony Brook, and earned a JD from Cornell Law School, where he was also a member of the Cornell Law Review.

 

Yvonne Zappulla

Ms. Zappulla is a seasoned Wall Street professional with over 30 years of experience. She has secured funding for numerous companies large and small, counseled and provided advisory services to many public and private companies, and established an extensive, global network of retail and institutional investors.

Ms. Zappulla began her career in venture capital as an analyst, spending 16 years in institutional equities sales for bulge bracket firms including First Manhattan, SG Warburg, Kemper Securities, ABN-AMBRO and Friedman, Billings, Ramsey.

She received a BA in International Studies from Dickinson College, an MBA from Tulane University, and studied international law at the University of Heidelberg, in Germany. She is FINRA registered, Series 7, 63, and 79. Ms. Zappulla is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Waterkeeper Alliance.
